Our principal partner is Future Light Organization (FLO) in Phnom Penh, which provides a safe and supportive home and access to education for children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. FLO supports children from their early school years through secondary education and, where appropriate, into university and employment.
Little Acorns provides regular financial support towards the cost of caring for and educating the children, including food, education, healthcare, hygiene and other essential living costs. We also support specific projects and educational opportunities that help young people develop the skills and confidence needed for independent adult life.
Our relationship with FLO is close and long-standing, with regular visits and direct engagement with its leadership, staff and children. This enables us to understand where support is most needed and to see the impact of the funding we provide.
Little Acorns is entirely volunteer-led. No salaries or personal expenses are taken from the charity, allowing the funds we raise to be focused on supporting our charitable work in Cambodia.
